August's Tag of 2012

Well, I made it just in time.

Finally finished my tag for Tim Holtz's 12 Tags of 2012. I just couldn't decide how I wanted to make it, so I waited until the last minute.  I'm not much into the silhouette stamps, instead I used by Cricut and the Sports Mania to cut the silhouette. I used the head and shoulders of the girl runner, she reminds me of my daughter. Then the frame with the Elegant Edges cartridge and embossed it. I am pleased with how it turned out. Decorative Journal Directions

These were the decorative journals we made during Kids' Kamp. The kids took the basic design and made it their design. Some of the kids even went home and made more. These would be great for back to school, birthday gifts or favors, recipes, or a daily journal. The possibilities are endless. Many of you have asked for the directions so I am attaching a PDF file with the directions (click here).

Mini Album with Trinity Paper Arts - Sincerely

This the cover for a 6x6 mini album I created with Trinity Paper Arts paper line called Sincerely.  I added Glossy Accents to the swirls on both the front and back covers. It really made the design pop. Below are the inside pages. I looked at the patterns on the papers and used them to create the designs for the pages. The page with the "picket fence" look is a pocket.
